"Children of Heroes" charitable foundation helps children who lost one or both parents as a result of the full-scale invasion of the russian federation. The foundation provides primary financial assistance, psychological and legal support, promotes the education and development of children until they reach adulthood. As of March 22, 8,390 wards are under the care of the foundation. Of them, 1,095 are IDPs (internally displaced persons), 151 children have lost their mother and father, 190 are children with disabilities, and 1,023 are children from large families. About 85 children join the foundation every week. 89% of the foundation's wards are children of military personnel, 11% are children of civilians.
